Allison Olson is the Senior Manager, Programs, Grantmaking for Born This Way Foundation. In this role, Allison is responsible for the operations, administration and ongoing grantee support of the Kindness in Community Fund, Born This Way Foundation’s grant program. Before joining Born This Way Foundation, Allison was a director at Arabella Advisors, a philanthropic consulting firm. At Arabella, she specialized in supporting the firm’s corporate clients advising on philanthropic strategies related to a range of social issues including global health, economic opportunity, education, and conservation. Prior to her time at Arabella, Allison was on the global corporate social responsibility team at Gartner, where she managed an international grant-making strategy, identified and managed philanthropic partnerships, supported the expansion of diversity and inclusion initiatives, and oversaw global volunteer programming for more than 15,000 employees in over 60 countries. She has a BS in justice studies and a BBA in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship from James Madison University.
