Channel Kindness Awards FAQs:

What is Channel Kindness?

Channel Kindness is a program by Born This Way Foundation, and is an online platform to report on the kind, compassionate, and brave individuals and events that shape our communities. Check out ChannelKindness.org to get an idea of the types of stories we post!

What are the Channel Kindness Awards? And who can apply?

The Channel Kindness Awards were inspired by Born This Way Foundation’s Channel Kindness – a digital platform featuring stories of kindness, bravery, and resilience powered by the passion and purpose of young people from all around the world.

Born This Way Foundation is inviting young people ages 13-24 who live in the Las Vegas metro area to apply for a Channel Kindness Award by telling us their creative ideas aimed at inspiring kindness and mental wellness in their communities.

The series of four awards will be granted to applicants based on their commitment to improving the lives of others through kindness and the strength of their proposal for a project that positively impacts the mental wellness of their community.

Each awardee will receive a $500 prize to bring their idea to life as well as staff support from Born This Way Foundation. Each awardee will also receive a $500 donation to the nonprofit they are supporting from the Foundation.
