#BTWFxStarbucks: World Kindness Day

Join Born This Way Foundation and Starbucks as we celebrate World Kindness Day! Our shared commitment to building a kinder, braver world where everyone feels welcomed, accepted, and supported means encouraging all to be kind to themselves and others. 

Keep scrolling for information on where you can celebrate World Kindness Day at a Starbucks store near you, graphics you can save and share, and draft social media posts you can use!

Here’s how you can participate at a store near you:

Chicago (1003 N Rush St, Chicago, IL 60611): Join us from 10 am – 2 pm to write notes of kindness to the young people and senior citizens at Center on Halsted, a community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ population of Chicagoland.

Las Vegas (8975 S. Eastern Avenue #A, Las Vegas, NV 89123): Join us from 1 pm – 4 pm for fun kindness activities

Los Angeles (7624 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046): Join us from 10 am – 1 pm to write notes of encouragement and gratitude to California’s firefighters who are battling the wildfires across the state.

New York City (424 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10016): Join us from 1 pm – 5 pm to write notes of love and acceptance to local LGBTQ+ youth who are experiencing homelessness.

Seattle (1600 E Olive Way, Seattle, WA 98102): Join us from 3 pm – 6 pm to support YouthCare, an organization working to end youth homelessness.

Walnut Creek (1601 Mount Diablo, Walnut Creek, CA 94596): Join us from 12 pm – 3 pm to write notes of encouragement and gratitude to California’s firefighters who are battling the wildfires across the state.
