Born This Way Foundation is inviting organizations to tell us about their community-led mental health work. Your contributions will help bring our Kindness in Community (KiC) Fund to life in cities across the United States, in celebration of our tenth anniversary and our continued commitment to working for and with young people to validate their emotions and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health.

As communities everywhere navigate multiple, overlapping crises, young people have stated clearly their need for proactive mental health support. Born This Way Foundation will launch a $1,000,000 commitment to fund free, accessible, community-informed mental health support for youth in coordination with Lady Gaga’s The Chromatica Ball Summer Stadium Tour U.S. dates. Born This Way Foundation will solicit proposals from 501(c)(3) organizations based in U.S. tour cities’* metro areas that are focused on mental wellness and:

  • are informed and/or led by young people,
  • are rooted in practices of inclusion and equity at all levels, and
  • provide free and accessible resources.

*Current U.S. Tour Cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Hershey, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, D.C.

Born This Way Foundation wants to fund in partnership with community organizations, learning from them what works and how to make this as simple, high impact, and catalytic as possible. As such, the Foundation commits grants for individual organizations to range between $25,000 – $50,000.
