#BeKind365 is a year-round program created following the success of Born This Way Foundation’s global kindness campaign, #BeKind21, which called on participants each September to practice intentional kindness with the mission to build kinder, more connected communities that foster mental wellness.
As of its launch in 2018, #BeKind21 has generated 291M+ pledged acts of kindness, reached 3B+ social media impressions, and been recognized as a Gold Anthem Award Winner and a Webby Social Honoree in the Public Service + Activism category. #BeKind21 has recruited 2,500+ partners across school districts, cities, nonprofits, companies, and media, including: Black Girls Vote, Chicago Public Schools, Conagra Brands, Deloitte, District of Columbia Government, GivingTuesday, Hilton, Kate Spade New York, The city of Las Vegas, Oreo, Pacsun, The City of San Diego, Sesame Street, and Subway Surfers. What Is #BeKind365?
#BeKind365 is an invitation to build kindness into your life every day, wherever you are, whenever you can. The #BeKind365 platform is designed to engage, excite, and inspire kindness 24/7/365 through a variety of digital components and activations, including:
- GPS (Gratitude Postal Service): Send a message of gratitude to anyone in the world and remind them they matter.
- Kindness Generator: A shuffler that takes 365 curated kind act suggestions and recommends users a new kind act for each day of the year for inspiration.
- Kind Connector: An interactive globe that shows how all of our individual acts of kindness can come together to build the kinder and braver world that we’re building.
- Kindness Pledge: Sign up + take the pledge to practice intentional kindness 365 days a year.
